Carrie Briggs

Carrie joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2023 and works with the litigation team.  Before joining OGC, Carrie was a Legal Analyst at the Minnesota Department of Commerce, and prior to that, at the Office of the Ramsey County Attorney/Child Support Services Section, and worked at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General earlier in her career. Carrie also worked at Traveler’s, when it was St. Paul Companies, and at the former Rider Bennett law firm in Minneapolis. Carrie has had a long career working in government, private practice, and in the corporate sector. She brings a wide variety of skills and experience to the OGC. She earned her Paralegal degree at Inver Hills Community College and has a Bachelor’s degree from Winona State University in Organizational Communications.
