Lisa L. Beane

Lisa joined OGC in 2022 and practices in litigation. Before joining OGC, Lisa was an attorney in the Minneapolis office of Jones Day, and before that, at Robins Kaplan LLP. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Augustana College (IL) and M.A. in political science from Pennsylvania State University. Lisa received her J.D. magna cum laude in 2013 from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as Lead Managing Editor of the Minnesota Law Review and was a member of Order of the Coif. After law school, Lisa served as a law clerk to the Minnesota Supreme Court and later to
Judge Wilhelmina M. Wright on the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Currently, Lisa also is a Moot Court Instructor at the University of Minnesota Law School, serves on the District of Minnesota’s Federal Practice Committee, and is a member of the boards of directors of the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association and the Minnesota Women Lawyers Foundation.
