The OGC represents the University in all disputes. Those disputes include state and federal lawsuits, arbitrations, Human Rights and EEOC claims, and grievances and other proceedings when the other person is represented by a lawyer. These services primarily are provided by Tim Pramas, Carrie Ryan Gallia, Dan Herber, and Neil Goldsmith. The OGC may also represent University employees who are eligible for such defense, as determined by the President under the Board of Regents Legal Defense and Indemnification Policy (PDF), based on the OGC’s investigation and recommendation.
